| The party on the first day of R&J's wedding celebration started right after the civil ceremony ended as we walked along the narrow streets of St. Tropez back to J's house... |

It was a hot day in Florence... As I walked away from the center of the city trying to find more interesting subjects to photograph I heard what sounded like a massive rally behind me... About a block away I noticed the police escorting a large number of Hare Krishna devotees as they made their way through the streets singing and dancing.
I made the images below as I joined them for the next few blocks until they reached the train station on the way to their next destination... Enjoy!

This is another image from the series I shot in Pisa and one of my favorites, you can never have too many favorite images, right?
I am sure the gentleman snapping the picture is a street photographer... He was very quick to draw his disposable camera and make a picture of me as soon as he saw me put my camera to my face...
While I don't regularly use slow film, I shot a lot of Ilford Pan F Plus during this trip and fell in love with it. I made a 16"x20" print in the darkroom earlier in the week and the tonal range, detail and sharpness is fantastic... |

I will continue the instant film previews... This was on Day #2 of R&J's wedding... Yes, the cake was delicious :)
Again, this is a straight scan from the instant film negative with no PhotoShop work. In this case, there was a little bit more of solarization and natural toning which I assume was due to the different temperature and lighting conditions than the day before... |
