| Maile & Bob - An old Hollywood wedding in modern day San Francisco |
08-23-08 | Weddings |

Ceremony - Golden Gate Park.
Reception - The Regency, San Francisco.
Ever since shooting their engagement session last month, I knew that Maile and Bob's wedding was going to be a blast to attend and document. I always look forward to the weddings in California since the weather over there is so nice and completely different to what we get here in South Florida... |

| I love all the layered mini scenes taking place within this image |

| One of my favorite images of the day which took place as Maile and Bob were about to greet their guests after the ceremony. |

| It was very windy in the city... |

| Last portrait made at the end of the evening... Good thing we had a fire extinguisher handy since these two were hot! |

Within the last month, I've gotten back into the darkroom to do a lot of B&W printing. I always found wet printing to be very therapeutic and, call me crazy, but I also feel more connected to the work that I print this way.
I made this image on my last trip to Mexico. Leica MP, 35 mm Summilux ASPH, Fuji Neopan 100.

The lovely, talented and very good friend Angelica Glass stopped by on her way to vacationing in the Caribbean a couple of weeks ago. After dinner and drinks in South Beach I made a few portraits of her in the wee hours of the morning... of course, we had a blast!
Leica M7, Noctilux.

About a month ago I flew to San Francisco for Maile and Bob's engagement session. I had a great time hanging out with them in the city and I am looking forward to their awesome wedding this weekend...
Hmm, I better start packing :-) |

| Blake sees his bride for the first time |

| This was one of my favorite images of the day. It took place when the flower girl got bored in the middle of the ceremony and decided to entertain herself... This is the moment right before her mom brings her back into the pews (love the hand!) |

| As we arrived to the reception I made this image when a sudden gust almost blew Lisette's veil |
